We are a mother (Charlene Edwards) and daughter (Shawn Hess) team raising quality, purebred OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) health tested AKC Champion HAVANESE since 2005!

about us

At CSTa Havanese,

our dogs live in our homes and are very much a part of daily lives.Before each breeding we carefully review each and every pedigree. Although we show and have a lot of fun with our Havanese, we take what we do with our breeding program seriously. The quality of our dogs says it all. We only breed once or twice a year. We breed for quality never quantity. Our puppies and CSTa Havanese families would definitely agree!

We follow “THE RULE OF SEVEN” for our puppy socialization. Our puppies are held and loved by all family members of all ages from the day they are whelped.

We are proud participants in the American Kennel Club, the Havanese Club of America, American Kennel Club Breeders of Merit, Havanese Club of America Breeder Referal, Havanese Rescue Inc., Greater Ft. Myers Dog Club and Mid-Florida Havanese Club.
